Recent advances in study of endophytic microorganisms have shown that they are the important components of microbial biodiversity and a rich source for isolation of novel bioactive compounds with medicinal and agricultural potential.In Mongolia there are about 850 species of medicinal and 150 species of endemic plants.However, nothing is known about their endophytic fungi.
