With the progressing of information technology and growing awareness of healthcare,functional fibers and fabrics have attracted more and more attention.This paper introduces our recent works on the fabrication and potential application of conductive fibers and fabrics.This paper shows that the functionality can be created by extrinsic modifications to commercial fibers and fabrics by using a facile dip-dying approach,depending on the level of integration into the fibrous platform.These conductive composite fibers and fabrics appear to be more attractive in practical applications because of their good environmental stability,easy processing ability,low cost,wearable and tailorable properties.
