Discusses Zhang Yunyi’s contributions to Guangxi from three aspects: creating a Red Army; establishing a united front against the Japanese aggression by establishing a united front with the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; establishing a CPC Guangxi Provincial Committee and Provincial People’s Government and institutions at all levels; leading the Guangxi people to complete the democratic revolution task.
