  Electrophoresis detection is, from our point of view, capable of providing real time information concerning a capillary-or-microchip-based electrophoretic process at anytime and anywhere in running media so that all information including best separation timing and condition, distribution of concentration versus time and space and so forth can all be acquired in one run.Based on the fact that such detection mode only exists in numerical simulation or a few commercial instruments in limited application fields, this work was oriented to establish the microchip electrophoresis system that was able to acquire real-time, multi-dimensional, and temporally-and-spatially-resolved information.
