A four-factor,three-level factorial design was used to evaluate the effects ofthe following fac-tors on the extraction efficiency:extraction temperature (A),extraction time (B),particle size (C)and ratio of water to solid (D).The optimalconditions for extraction of Salvia heteroglycan weredetermined,using the ridgeanalysis,as extracting 2.5 h at 80 ℃ for three times.
