Objective Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD),the most common cause of chronic liver diseases in children and adolescents,is closely related to bile acid (BA) and fatty acid (FA) metabolism.We performed a comprehensive measurement of serum BA and FA profiles in children and adolescents to assess their variation during NAFLD progression.
