A suitable animal model is essential for discovering novel preventive and therapeutic approaches to curing the breast cancer.Tree shrews (Tupaia Belangeri Chinensis) have a closer evolutionary relation with human being compared to rodents and have been successful used to establish animal models for hepatocellular carcinomas and pulmonary adenocarcinomas.
