Objective: To analyze the efficacy and toxicity of concomitant chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) with non-surgical regiments in China to provide strong evidence for its clinical application.Methods: Randomized controlled trials of CRT in ESCC were selected from the CNKI and Wanfang medical networksaccording to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Information on short-term efficacy, survival rate, as well as incidence of esophagitis and hematopoietic suppression, were obtained.
