Recently, a lot of effort to enhance engine performance over the entire spectrum of flight regimes by using catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon fuels to remove waste heat from aircraft systems has been devoted to hypersonic flight field.Huang et al.[1], Sobel et al.[2] and Liu et al.[3] studied the catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon fuels in wall-coated reactors with SAPO-34, Y and ZSM-5 zeolites at the conditions simulative of high-speed flight (above 550 ℃ and 2.4 MPa) and found that wall-coated catalysts could significantly reduce pressure drop and thermal resistance. However, the sole presence ofmicropores in the zeolites inhibits facile mass transfer of bulky molecules in fuels to and from the active sites, limiting the catalytic performance.
