所有相对隆起区对向对沉降区都有挤压作用,因为隆起体在上升过程中,不仅高度增加,而且随其上升,体积也不断扩大,所以隆起区都有侧向的挤压作用。越靠近隆起区挤压力越大,远离隆起区逐渐减小,直至最后消失。受隆起挤压的围岩将产生一系列特有的构造体系。隆起的形态变化以及深与浅部的挤压力不同是构造体系变化的决定因素,隆起对盆地的挤压,沿垂向有平错、平推等构造,而沿水平方向则形成各种排列形式的构造体系。
