  Objective:To analyse one stage of debridement and bone fusion in spinal tuberculosis.Method:Documented retrospectively 40 patients with spinal tuberculosis were treated by one stage of radical debridement,bone fusion and internal fixation from 2002.Jan to 2004.Dec,there were 26 males and 14 females,age from 28~62,with an average of 36.6 years,disease course from 4 months to 3 years with the average of 10 months.Regularly antituberculosis therapy 2~ 3 weeks before operation,control ESR<40mm/h,Hb>10g.Anterior approach debridement,neural symptoms decompression,exclude the tissue in the spinal cord which compress the spine,In the operation,debridement should be get completely.After debrided the focus,sinus and abcess,Autograft and internal fixation by one stage.
