　　Introduction: This study aimed to determine the influence of different midsole hardness values on plantar pressure.Methods: A total of 15 heel striking male runners(age = 20.3±1.5 years; body mass: 62.5±9.1kg; height: 173.3±5.0cm)were recruited to participate in the study.The prototype running shoes(made by a professional shoe manufacturer)used in this study differed only in terms of the midsole(same material but different in hardness values).
