Over the past few decades, chalcogenide glasses (GhGs) have been widely investigated due to a variety of technological application in infrared optics[1].As a well-known infrared transmitting material, GhGs offer infrared transparency from visible up to the far infrared (FIR) region, covering the widely used atmospheric IR windows of 3-5 and 8-14 μm, which are very important to todays telecommunication.
