This paper reports the first discovery of the Neoproterozoic (887.4 ± 9.1 Ma,middle-Tonian) meta-mafic volcanic rocks in the northern side of Langshan,Inner Mongolia.The Langshan metallogenic belt,which located at the west section of the northern margin of North China Craton (Fig.1a),consists of the Tanyaokou,Dongshengmiao,and Huogeqi deposits and is adjacent to the Bayan Obo ore district to the northeast (Fig.1b).
