Jinxiu,a new processing apricot(Armeniaca vulgaris L.)cultivar developed from the progenies of the cross ofChuanzhihongas female parent,andGoldensunas male parent bred by Shijiazhuang Pomology Institute.The fruit development period is 72 days.It is oval-shaped.The average fruit weight is 65.5 g.The flesh is orange,fine with very less fiber,toughness and freestone.The soluble solids content is 12.5%.Edible rate is 95.8%.The fruit skin hardness is 12.9kg.cm-2 and storable.The preserved apricots has orange color and tasty.Preserved yield is 40%.It has high yield.Jinxiuwas examined and approved by Hebei Examination and Approval Commitee of Forest Tree Varity in 2013.
