  Marchantia polymorpha belongs to the family of Marchantiaceae and genus Marchantia,and is used as a traditional Chinese medicinal herb for scald and pneumonia.The phytochemicals found in M.polymorpha are terpenes and flavonoids, which show significant biological benefits for human health.Objective: The flavonoids profiles, antioxidant and acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibition activities of the extracts from archegoniophore and gametophyte of M.polymorpha were compared.
