A stitched textile composite is one of remarkable materials because it has some advantages such as the improvement of out-of-plane strength due to effects of stitching yarns.However, the evaluation of the strength has some difficulties, which depends on many parameters such as fiber orientation, stitch structures, pitch, etc.Furthermore, it is difficault to generate FE models of a Non Crimp Fabric (NCF) composite because of the complicated geometry for stitching yarns.
