The leach Liquor (10.0g/L Mo,27.0g/L Al and 2.0g/L Ni) obtained from the sulfation baking and leaching process of spent Ni-Mo/Al2O3 catalyst was treated for the solvent extraction of Mo(Ⅵ) with LIX 84-I.The influence of various basic variables such as pH,concentration of LIX 84-I,different stripping reagents,phase ratio and diluents,were examined.Extraction of Mo(Ⅵ) was increased with decrease in equilibrium pH and with increase in LIX 84-I concentration,respectively and there was no significance variation on the of Mo(Ⅵ) extraction with different diluents.
