Silages are difficult to produce in the Tibetan Plateau because of the low temperatures there.To overcome this difficulty,two lactic acid bacteria strains,QZ227 and QZ887,which grew well in conditions of 5℃ and pH 3.0,were added into wheat straw silage fermentations at 5℃.
