Objective:To investigate the technique and the effect of selective lateral lumbar herniated discectomy through the local anesthesia and percutaneous endoscope.Methods:From March to December in 2006,thirty patients were hospitalized,male 16,female 14,average age is 36 years old (17~63y).The course of disease is 3 months to 13 years.All the patients had low back pain and lower limb radiating pain and failed to three months conservative treatment.After local infiltration anesthesia,puncture the intervertebral disk by the leading of the X-ray,and go in a conductor at Kambin triangle expand the work tube.The protrude lateral disk were seen clearly and resected under endoscopes.
