[Objective] To study the effect of restricting blood circulation on skeletal muscle ischemia-reperfusion injury through experiments. [Method] 18 adult white rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups: normal control group (control group), restricted blood-passing time group (experimental group 1) and restricted blood flow group (experimental group 2). The skeletal muscle was subjected to restrictive blood transfusion after 5 hours of acute ischemia. [Results] The contents of CPK, LDH, and GOT in plasma were significantly decreased, and the results of electron microscopy were consistent with those of electron microscopy. [Conclusion] Experiments have shown that by limiting the flow or time of recanalization, the degree of ischemia-reperfusion injury of skeletal muscle can be significantly reduced.
