Highway transportation is one of the important parts of comprehensive transporting system,and also one of the basic and leading industries for economic development.In the past thirty years,Chinese highway transportation infrastructure realized leapfrog development and so does the bridge engineering obtained great achievements.By the year of 2012,the total amount of bridges in China reached 7.134 million,and a large number of super long span bridges have been constructed with great influences in the world.But along with more and more highway bridges opened to traffic,under different factor of influences safety accidents of highway bridges happened frequently.Partly estimated,more than 70 bridges collapse accidents have happened caused by non-earthquake reasons since 2000,besides casualties and direct economic losses caused by bridge damages or collapses,the corresponding traffic disruption will cause incalculable economic losses.The above mentioned 70 bridge collapse accidents,30 of them were caused by overloading trucks,so overloading trucks need to be paid more attention to.
