A method of modal decomposition based on Karhunen-Loeve Decomposition (KLD) is proposed to obtain n (the number of mode orders) independent single-frequency modal responses.According to the NExT theory, KLD correlation matrix is banded toeplitz matrix when sampling time is long enough, then Hermitian cyclic matrix equivalent to KLD correlation matrix can be built to obtain eigenvalues and eigenvectors of correlation matrix.
