Inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) is the most aggressive, poorest prognosis, mammary neoplasm in the women; its prevalence is low and its mortality high.Its increasing prevalence, especially among young women, has given a more preponderant interest from the scientific and research points of view.The major topics are to determine which factors are specifically involved in the malignant transformation towards the "inflammatory" phenotype and to search for management of the disease itself.
