　　This research aims to develop a mixture model to study heterogeneous longitudinal data from a longitudinal human immune deficiency virus (HIV) study.Each component of the mixture is characterized by a varying coefficient mixed effect model.The Bayesiau P-splines approach is used to approximate the varying coefficient functions.
