南葶苈子(Cortex Mori)是十字花科植物播娘蒿(Descurainia Sophia (L.) Webb.)的干燥种子.其植物播娘蒿是十字花科播娘蒿属野生植物,也是一种分布广泛的农田杂草,是小麦、油菜田中的常见杂草,其种子的生活力很强1-6.由于播娘蒿种子丰产潜力大,种子油中有营养丰富的高含量不饱和脂肪酸等,因此受到油料工作者、食品工业界、工业以及医药方面的重视7-11.
