We present in this talk the decay estimates of small smooth solution to the MHD equations without magnetic diffusion.Our result confirms the numerical observation that the energy of the MHD equations is dissipated at a rate independent of the ohmic resistivity.We will also show that our argument can be applied to a hyperbolic-parabolic system modeling chemotaxis.This is a joint work with X.Ren,J.Wu and Z.Zhang.
