Objective:To perform the Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusions (ALIF) using the technique of Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS).Methods:Twenty ALIF cases were performed using the retroperitoneal approach and the AO SynFrame universal access and retractor system,including 12 cases of L4/5 and eight cases ofL5S1.Results:The average operating time was 90~120min,blood losts 125~200ml.The depths of retractor blades were 12~18mm,the heights of bone grafts 12~25mm,17mm in average.The time of follow-up was 5~24 month,2.8 month in average.The complications of big vessels injury and sympathetic chain injury in male were not found.
