The major symptoms of envenomed victims suffered from viper snakebite are usually attributed to blood bleeding effect of either local or systemic hemorrhage resulting from the action of integrin receptor antagonist such as the RGD-containing disintegrins or snake venom metalloproteinase (SVMP).
