Objectives:To report longterm results of cervical interbody fusion with thread cage after cervical disectomy and decompression and evaluate the effectiveness of thread cage in cervical disk disease surgery.Methods:Fifty-six consecutive patients with cervical disk disease were treated by modified cage insertion approach.Overdistracting 2mm of involved disk space was conducted.trephination was performed to remove partial endplate and soft disk.The Inter Fix cage of 11×12 or 12×12mm was implanted.The clinical results and imaging outcomes were followed up 3 months to 5 years.
