Thiazolidin-4-one derivatives had been paid extensive attention by virtue of their good anti-diabetic,anti-tumor and anti-viral activities [1].Recently,thiazolidin-4-one derivatives bearing sugar were observed to have good immunostimulating activities at low concentrations [2].Considering that azasugars were also reported to be of strong immunomodulatory activities[3],therefore,its interesting to synthesize thiazolidn-4-one derivatives bearing azasugar to deeply investigate the structure activity relationship(SAR) and to develop azasugar-based drugs.Herein,we would like to report the synthesis of the novel thiazolidin-4-one linked pseudo-aza-disaccharide by one-pot Staudinger/aza-Wittig/cyclization reaction and C-pseudo-aza-nucleosides bearing thiazolidin-4-one by condensation reaction.
