Acute coronary syndromes (ACS), characterized by the occurrence of myocardial ischemia secondary to acute total or sub-total coronary obstructions, are life-threatening diseases that remain a source of high morbidity and mortality in China.Early diagnosis by biomarkers to confirm or exclude acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is required for almost 90% of patients with suspected ACS.Cardiac troponins, myoglobin, creatine kinase and its MB isoenzyme and H-FABP are important serumcardiac markers in clinical application for the diagnosis of ACS.
