Glomerular mesangial cells are an important type of residential cells in the kidneys, but their senescence mechanism is unknown.Autophagy is a protective mechanism for maintaining a stable intracellular environment and is closely associated with senescence and age-related diseases.The mechanism of regulation of mesangial cell senescence by microRNA-34 (miR-34) is not yet clear.
