This paper introduced the emergence and development of Spectral imaging polarimeter based on Savart polariscope; Use Matlab software to complete a set of program,and it can extract the state of polarization of the interferogram; Also,it can spectrally resolve the state of polarization; Do the true color composition to the polarization image and can get multicolor image and did the error analysis for the multicolor image.The research can obtain two-dimensional spatial image and each pixels' spectrum information,as well as the polarization information of each spectral bands.same time.Because of its advantages of high opitcal throughput,multiplex,high resolution,it has an extremely wide application prospect in both military and civilian.
