As a mathematics professor who has taught for nearly twenty years in a USA state university, I will give an overview and some personal perspectives on undergraduate education in mathematics.The presentation will focus primarily on undergraduate programs in mathematical sciences at our university along with topics such as teaching methodologies,curriculum development, our mission and preparing undergraduates for future careers.
