Allenes have been becoming a more and more important class of chemicals showing very attractive reactivities,l thus, new methods for the efficient synthesis of allenes are highly desirable.In this lecture, we would like to discuss our first generation technology for the enantioseletcive synthesis of allenes with axial and/or central chiralities from terminal alkynes and aldehydes as well as racemic 2,3-allenylic derivatives.
