Objectives To study the relationship between renal function and left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) in patients with refractory hypertension (RH), and to investigate the relative risk factors of LVH in RH patients.Methods 215 (120 cases of RH and 95 cases of none RH) hos-pitalised patients were retrospectively analysed.The renal function was evaluated by modification of diet in renal disease (MDRD) formula, and 24h ambulatory blood Pressure were monitored.
