Group behaviors seem to achieve a dynamic balance in non-homogeneous space during a period of time,as observed in many cases.While prevailing "space syntax" methods quantified this process of "group-environment" interaction indistinguishably,the article argues that this kind of balance actually is a consequence of games between individuals and therefore comes up with a hypothesis of "individual-environment" games.Investigating behavior patterns in subway platforms,squares for the elderly and public bathrooms,which are typical kinds of non-homogeneous space,this study try to decipher the mechanism of behavior games,and extend the application of Maslows Hierarchy of Needs in architecture design.
