The second phase of the Tsinghua Library (hereinafter referred to as " the Former Library") is now served as a study room,and become very popular among students for its unique environment.Through observation and investigation and based on Environment-Behavior Theory,this article analyzed the crucial environmental element of the former library,as well as the primary behaviors—study—taken place inside it.It discussed how the unique spatial pattern,material and cognizant element and special connotation of impact of others exert influence on study behavior.Besides the Former Library,other study places in Tsinghua are also taken into account to make a comparison.The article also made a brief description of other kinds of behavior happened in the Former Library.
