Carrier-envelope phase dependence of the XUV spectrum has been demonstrated by optimizing the experimental conditions, which is consistent with the formation of attosecond pulses. As an efficient way to generate isolated attosecond pulses [1], high harmonic generation (HHG) paves a way to directly observe the motion of electron [2].
