Aim: Angiogenesis contributes to ischemic, inflammatory, infectious and immune disorders and also occurs during numerous malignancies.It is a balanced process that involves proliferation, migration, differentiation and tube formation of endothelial cells.As a critical factor in inducing angiogenesis, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) has become an attractive target for anti-angiogenesistreatment.
