MBE has been extensively used for both manufacturing and basic research.In this talk,we will discuss the growth of topological insulator(TI)and their heterostructures with MBE.In particular,the growth of TI and magnetic TI/ferromagnet heterostructures was shown to demonstrate quantum anomalous Hall insulator(QAHI)and a large spin orbit torque.The control of the interface magnetic order at different TI/ferromagnet heterostructures have been studied and a giant SOT of more than three orders of magnitude,larger than those reported in heavy metals,has also been obtained.
