This study was designed to identify factors likely to affect the length of hospital stay for free flap reconstructions after surgical resection of a tumour of the oral cavity or pharynx.The objective was not to modify the therapeutic indications, but to identify factors that could be corrected in order to improve the length of hospital stay.
