　　Maximum Chl-a concentration was observed on day 13 in the Fe-patch and was about 3 times higher than that in the surrounding area.Prymnesiophyceae,major DMSP producers,were slightly more abundant in the patch than outside.However,the seawater DMS concentration in the patch did not show any significant increase during the first 15 days of the experiment.
