One of the acceptable ways should follow the experience of farmers/professionals providing local recommendations/suggestions.There are a lot of local standards under regional constraints, followed by a management way localized. This study shows 2 types of threshold in mapping data. One is based on the textbook "Nogyo-Gijutsu-Taikei"*1with soil standards diagnoses (3 division). The other is a tentative threshold scheme with nine levels of equal spacing. The parameter investigated was phosphate absorption coefficient. The experimental site was located in Yamatsuri town, Fukushima and the paddy fields were provided for the experiment. The soil phase was estimated by 0.01-3.3% vapor, 43.9-49.8% liquid and 47-56.1% solid.Soil texture was 24.0-33.5 coarse sand, 27.4-42.0 fine sand, 9.3-19.6 silt and 19.3-21.9 clay.In the field experiments using a real-time soil sensor, 167 soil samples and 2696 spectral data were collected in 2013, 108 soil samples and 2788 spectral data were collected in 2014.Location data were also recorded by a GPS.With the data of chemical analysis and soil spectra, a PLSR models by the Unscrambler and soil maps by the ArcGIS software was performed. Two maps with different thresholds were generated from the same set of data of soil spectra and soil analysis.
