Here we describe an easy-to-get non-valve micropump for delivering biomicrofluids,specifically for direction reversing on microfluidic chips.Merging principles of alternating current electrothermal (ACET) effects with asymmetric interdigital electrode array enables repaid pumping of high conductive microfluids [1].Conventional ACET micropump typically requires an AC electric power source applied on an asymmetric interdigital electrode array for Joule heating and inner temperature gradients.While the non-valve reversing micropump is operated by regulating the temperature of the control fluids outside of the working fluids.
