In this study, the conductive polyaniline coated on the surface of monodispersed polystyerne particles were synthcsized by in sire chemical oxidative polymerization.FESEM and TEM images show the PANI layers are uniformly coated on the surface of PS particles.The electrical conductivity of the PS/PANI core-shell particles are signficantly increased about 12 orders in magnitude compared to that of the pure PS matrix.
