Studies utilizing genomics and proteomics have demonstrated that multiple changes in the expressed genomes and proteomes occur for most of our degenerative diseases,such as cancer,cardiovascular disease,mental disease,prolonged and neuropathic pain,addiction,etc.These changes strongly suggest that new approaches to drug design are necessary to address the disease state,and for these reasons,we have developed several new approaches.
