We reported an efficient method to synthesize multi-substituted quinolines from three components, including diaryliodoniums, alkynes and nitriles.As a cascade annulation, this method features high efficiency and regio-selectivity, step-economy, flexibility on functional groups and potential applicability to complex molecules.
