  Titanium and titanium alloys are widely used in the aerospace, automotive, chemical and biomedical industries, because of their high special strength, superior corrosion resistance, stable high temperature mechanical behaviors and good biological compatibility.However, its wear resistance is very poor.Practice has proven that plasma immersion ion implantation (PⅢ) surface modification is an efficient measure to improve its surface properties and wear resistance.
